Frank Phillips studied graphic design as a young man at Epsom Art School in the 60’s. He went on to a career of magazine and book design. His final post as creative art director at BBC books, having had a wonderfully creative and happy working life.
He retired early at 54 to move to his house in France to establish himself as a water colour painter. Having exhibited there but fed up with the expat life, he returned to the UK’s West Country where he now is happier, and loving the Dartmoor landscape. At 75 he exhibits here in Devon and is a board member of Devon Artists Network.
