Jack ‘Sturts’ was born in the UK and spent most of his life on the coast of South Devon, he grew up with a love of all things ‘Attenborough’ specifically the ocean.

Jack recognised and was driven by the damage that humans were systematically causing to the worlds oceans, happy to play in them and on them, but thinking nothing of the continued contamination and negative impact the world population was and is having, Jack spent his early years, swimming , snorkeling, walking and ‘seeing’ and as a result his appreciation grew and grew.

Moving to Western Australia in 2018 this passion continues, he has now produced a body of photographic work entitled ‘Mermaids Tears’ he hopes with bringing the reminder of beauty to the viewer he can also encourage ‘care and thoughtfulness’ to safeguarding of our oceans for future generations.
