La Prima Volta

Painting holidays in the Tuscan Mountains with Ashburn Creative Adventures

La Prima Volta

25 May – 01 June 2024

How does painting landscapes in undiscovered stunning Apennine mountains with professional tuition sound? Relaxing with a Spritz in the evening, or perhaps taking a short stroll to the river Presale and dip your toes into the cool running water?

The team at Ashburn Creative Adventures would like to tempt you to join us for a very exclusive painting adventure in the Apennines, Tuscany, Italy.

We are situated in a relatively unexplored tranquil part of Tuscany, boasting breathtaking mountain views, waterfalls, natural swimming pools, and carpets of wildflowers including several unusual species of wild Orchid.

Your adventure will include five full days of painting instruction under the expert tuition of Louise Bougourd, one of our dedicated team of professional artists. A full itinerary will be available at the Welcome Drinks on Day One.

Louise Bougourd

Louise is an award-winning artist who has painted and sketched landscapes for over thirty years. Louise is an extremely accomplished art tutor. She shows ample patience and empathy as a teacher. She also has an instinctive gift for delivering an element of magic, allowing those under her tutelage to stretch their skills and abilities to not only produce work that they are proud of but also to bestow knowledge that can be taken away in their mental portfolio and used in the future to continue your creative journey. We will also provide ‘Sketch and Trek’ opportunities with Marco Zambelli of Zambo Trekking, Marco is a hike and trekking guide with a huge knowledge of the local flora and fauna, for those intrepid explorers amongst you, we can arrange a hike to the Specchio della Luna (Mirror of the Moon) this spectacular hidden pool surrounded by the Alpe Della Luna (Mountains of the Moon) and is pure magic.

Additional treks in the local area can be arranged for friends and partners not taking part in the painting course. Upon request.
