In 1992, I moved to Paris for three years and discovered my passion for art, painting, and painters. When I returned to the UK, I pursued a six-year university education, starting with foundation courses, earning a degree, and completing teacher training. I graduated with many qualifications, including a First-Class Honours degree in Fine Art. After graduating, I participated in exhibitions such as The Affordable Art Fair in Battersea, Cork Street Gallery, Christie’s Charity Art Event, Contemporary Art Fairs in Surrey, Windsor, and Reading, and the Fresh Art Fair in Cheltenham. Our first public show was at the London Design Centre Islington, and it was a real selling venue. This experience set the stage for a whirlwind of exhibitions and opportunities.

My inspiration was partly brought up in Cornwall and I found my deep love of the sea, the ever-changing and beautiful skies and the endless beaches there.

In my adult world, I am now an avid sailor and walker and I love watching the dramatic skies at sea and memories of running down to the beach excited with anticipation.

The stunning flowers in the hedgerows, both in England and Italy where I walk a lot, inspire me for my work, and I strive to convey the joy and happiness we all find in these places.
